Owner connection
Your first private message tells Rosi which Telegram account is its trusted owner.
Once your bot token is saved and Rosi is running, send the bot a private message from your own Telegram account. That message tells Rosi who its owner is. Groups and topics are optional.
Your first private message tells Rosi which Telegram account is its trusted owner.
If you add the bot to a group, a real message there lets Rosi recognise that group.
In a group with topics, send the first message in the topic where you want Rosi to respond.
If BotFather still has Group Privacy enabled, ordinary group messages may not reach Rosi until you turn it off.
Open Telegram using your own account, find your bot, and send it a private message such as hi.
Rosi can now reply in your direct chat. That is all you need to start using Rosi from Telegram.
Add the bot to a Telegram group, then send a normal message there. If the group uses topics, send it in the topic where you want Rosi to respond.
Open BotFather, send /setprivacy, choose your bot, then choose Disable.
Rosi treats the account that sends the first private message as its owner. Contact support if the wrong account was connected.
Make sure someone sent a message after the bot joined. The join event alone is not always enough.
Disable Group Privacy in BotFather and send another ordinary group message.
Check that Rosi Agent is running on your Mac and that the Mac is awake and online.
